Small Animal or Mixed Practice Veterinarian - Tokoroa

ABOUT US:

Vetora Waikato is a Vet club and an incorporated society, meaning we reinvest all our profits back into our purpose of 'world-class animal health service for rural communities'. We were formed almost 80 years ago to ensure rural communities had access to veterinarians and animal health services, and we hold that promise through to today. We employ 140 staff across 8 clinics in the Waipa, Waikato, South Waikato and Taupo communities.

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are now enjoying our newly built Tokoroa clinic, and are really excited to move in. This new building gives us more space to be able to better serve our clients and ensure that they are getting premier service in a beautiful, modern facility. With this move we have a vacancy for a Small Animal or Mixed Animal (with a strong interest in smallies) Vet. We’re really looking for someone who can take a lead in our small animal team and make it their own. Our team is client focused, and filled with value driven professionals who are dedicated and love to have fun.

Our clinics are well resourced with all the toys, and plenty of opportunities for professional development. We believe in a good work-life balance, so there are options for part time Vets. Perfect for those who love the outdoor life - a great base location, central for ease of travel to beaches, mountains, cities, and lakes.

Our organisation offers a comprehensive remuneration and benefits package, fully supports ongoing professional development, and believes in having a great work-life balance. We are also recent winners of the Employee Development Award from Primary Industries Good Employer Awards 2021.

ABOUT YOU:

Ideally, you will have 2-3 years’ clinical practice experience. Having an exceptional team spirit and a collaborative attitude is a must, as you will be working as part of a high performing team to provide the best veterinary service for our farming and small animal clients.

We’re motivated to fill this position, with relocation packages available and options for a better work-life balance. If you think you have what it takes to join our dynamic and successful team, please send a cover letter and your C.V to hr@vetora.nz today.
